Our Story
The idea behind Austin Rotisserie all started from one of founders Sophie & Eric’s first dates. Staying home for a low-key night, they decided to pick up a rotisserie chicken from the market. Both influenced by tastes of home, Eric went for the tortillas and salsa while Sophie picked up a baguette and fresh butter as any Parisian would.
As they enjoyed their meal, they laughed as they realized each had their own rituals on how they enjoyed their chicken. For Eric, it reminded him of his childhood in Mexico when his dad would go to the polleria to get a rotisserie on the weekends. For Sophie, it brought her back to her walks home from school in Paris with her mom and grabbing a rotisserie chicken for dinner.
That same night Sophie and Eric decided to bring this experience to Austin and the rest is history.
